  • Great Schools! Just Another Reason to Love Union County Blairsville Georgia!

    Just another reason to love Blairsville Union County Georgia!

    Union County Elementary School was just ranked 12th among the 1,176 elementary schools in the state of Georgia.

    Union County Middle School was just ranked 42nd among 476 middle schools in the state of Georgia.

    The Union County School System is ranked Number 1 in Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests (CRCT) in all subjects in the Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests (CRCT) in all subjects in the Pioneer Regional Educational Service Agency (PRESA) area of Northeast Georgia's 13 counties for 2006.

    .Union County system ranked:
     4th in the state in the End Of Course Testing in Physical Science
     2nd  in the state in End of Course Testing in 9th Grade Literature

    Union County system had between 98 percent to 99 percent passing rate on the high school graduation tests in English, Math and Social Studies.

    New Listings 
    This week, 40 new listings entered the market with listing prices ranging from $79,000 to $475,000.

    Sold Homes
    9 homes sold during this time frame with prices ranging from $106,500 to $525,000. The home that sold for $106,500 is a 2  bedroom, 1.5 bath towhhouse with a lakeview on .04 acres.  The price of $525,000 purchased a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath with a full unfinished basement and year round lake and mountain view.

    Under Contract
    12 homes went under contract this week with listing prices between $68,900 and $400,000. The lowest listing price, $68,900, was for a 2 bedroom and 2 bath mobile on 1.076 acres.  A 3 bedroom and 2 bath log sided home with mountain views in a gated community on 1.2 acres was listed  $400,000.
